Unleashing the Wild: Transforming the Landscape

In my heart there has been a desire to share the spring fed waterfall that graces our property. My first chance was offering a Cold Plunge & Sauna Community Event. Here lies a tranquil pond, and a waterfall- a hidden gem waiting to be honored. This pond, once embraced by the wildness of nature, presented us with a challenge – a steep hillside that made entering and exiting an adventure in itself. However, challenges often lead to innovation and transformation, and that's exactly what happened as we embarked on a journey to revamp the landscape for future events.

Embracing Change

The decision was made to reshape the landscape surrounding the pond, turning a wild setting into a welcoming space for community to gather and celebrate. The steep bank was removed and relocated, paving the way for a gentle decline slope that beckoned visitors to explore with ease. By adding sand to the bottom of the pond, we not only enhanced its beauty but also created a serene environment for our guests to to enjoy with ease.

Expanding Possibilities

But the transformation did not stop there. As excess dirt was excavated, a space for the future traditional sauna was cleared and a spacious 30x50-foot area emerged, perfect for accommodating an area to place a large event tent. This expansion has opened up endless possibilities for hosting gatherings, from festive picnics to joyful festivities, uniting the community in the heart of this valley all within nature's embrace.
