Valley Falls Lodging & Sauna is the first wellness lodging accommodation in Chaseburg, Wisconsin. We have specifically created lodging and an outdoor traditional sauna experience around the natural formation of the hills and springs that rush over a waterfall rock bed into a serene pond. All the senses are opened, revived and delighted with nature and the vitality of the pure water within this rural countryside property providing mental, emotional, spiritual and physical restoration.
Located 25 minutes south of La Crosse, Wisconsin on a homestead of 6.3 acres of woods, meadow, a robust spring fed waterfall and refreshing, cool Nordic-like pond. We offer guided wood-fired Sauna Sessions with Cold Plunge for all guests. Whether you schedule an hour session, day-trip or stay on-site in our 5-star lodging this will be an experience to treasure. Each encounter is intentional to support awakening your senses to nature and welcome you to reconnect within and experience the restorative benefits of sauna and cold plunge. Nestled on 6+ rolling acres in the Driftless region of Wisconsin, Valley Falls Lodging & Sauna is a one-of-a-kind wellness retreat where natural spring water rushes down a rock bed waterfall and fills a serene, cool pond. This is a place designed to restore every sense — the sound of moving water, the warmth of a wood-burning fire, the stillness of dark star-filled nights, and the beauty of sweeping sunset valley views.
The private Valley Falls Guest House is attached to the founders' home and comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. Every detail has been thoughtfully chosen to support genuine rest and restoration.
The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for multi-day stays. The family room offers flexible furniture — a queen pull-out couch, daybed, and twin trundle — easily arranged for sleeping, lounging, dancing, or group games. A Smart TV with Ethernet connection and Blu-ray player comes stocked with a library of DVD movies. The nostalgic wood-burning stove provides cozy fireside warmth, and the large private bedroom features an organic queen bed, closet, and dresser. The full bathroom is equipped with a modern tile shower. Step outside to your private patio with outdoor grill, gather around the rustic fire pit, take in breathtaking sunset valley views, or lose yourself in the dark sky nights perfect for stargazing.
The guest house is intentionally designed as a healing environment and true digital detox — WiFi-free for those seeking genuine disconnection. All amenities are toxic-free and organic in nature — including mattresses, bedding, linens, and personal care products. The structure has been tested and verified for minimal levels of electric and electromagnetic radiation, providing a sanctuary free from non-supportive radiation waves.
Guided wood-fired Sauna Sessions and Cold Plunge in the spring-fed pond are included within your guest rate. The sauna and pond are also open to the wider community on Mondays, Thursday afternoons through evening, and Saturdays. We do our best to arrange the schedule so lodging guests enjoy dedicated private time on the property during their stay.
